Fasting And Training So Far This Week

So far this week the Fasting has gone very well. I started  the fast on Sunday at 8pm and didn't eat again until Tuesday evening at about 6pm. That made a total fasting time of 44 hours.

My training consisted of cardio and resistance training.I started off the a 5 minute fast walk on the treadmill, followed by a 10 minute run at 10kph. I then went on to resistance training and did about 8 sets of 10 rep on the inclined dumbbell bench pressand finished off in the gym with a steady 10 minute session on the orbital trainer. Then it was off to the pool for a quick swim and 20 minutes in the Steam Room

All that happened apart from eating :) was a 500m swim then 20 minute in the Steam Room. it was hardly worth going. Only kidding, any exercise is always worth the effort.

We started off with the 5 minute walk and 10 minute run again, then moved on to 5 sets of 10 hanging clean and jerks mixed in with 3 sets of 10 pull ups. I finished off in the usual manor of 10 minute on the orbital trainer, then off to the pool for a quick swim and 20 minute in the best place in the club, the Steam Room. 

I have also done a 24 hour fast today lasting from 7pm yesterday until around the same time today. I have finished eating at 9pm this evening and will now fast until 6:30 tomorrow evening. I can't make it last any longer as we have my Dad for his evening meal and it would be rude not to eat with him.

Tomorrow there will be no training, like I said we have guest visiting. I will try and train on Friday but once again we have commitments that I can't avoid, it all depends what time I can get away from work.
